According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
